Is it not maybe also to do with the early courtship coyness….that thing that it’s somehow not feminine to be seen scoffing yer grub like a starving navvy…instead..a young girl should pretend she lives on fresh air..and never goes to the toilet? That’s probably me just showing my age. Certainly as you get older..your inhibitions fall away. When I met my hubby..I used to cook him wonderful vegetarian meals..but would only take weeny portions myself…by the time we were married six months later..I would guzzle my own dinner and half of his as well
Treat your girl to a good home-cooked three course meal Matty. If she pushes it around her plate..maybe you should be looking for a slightly more mature lady. She who loves grub..loves life :P :P :P11 October, 2006 at 9:40 am #244148@esmeralda wrote:

I would spend weekends with him and not eat, he would go mad at me. After 2 months of being with him i went down 2 dress sizes. Then when i fell pregnant he moved into my parents house while our new home was being sorted and i had no choice and i ate then and put back on the weight i lost  I dont know why i did it or any girl for that matter.
11 October, 2006 at 9:57 am #244149Well I’m 21 so I don’t know if you class that as young or not but I have to say I haven’t been to macdonalds or burger king in years. I very rarely get a takeaway and never eat “ready meals”. I love going out to restaurants, especially for chinese and cook all my meals myself. I think a few years ago I probably did eat processed crap but I care about what I put into my body now and wouldn’t dream of eating it, I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new things :D
