like i said before.. england are expected, and will qualify, no matter who will play

next 20 months are going to be pretty much boring for england to be honest.. nothing to get excited about for a while

i’m just saying, we will qualfiy, thats it… the european championships we will get intrested again, would have much prefered england to have a tougher group to be honest, look forward to a game against somone like germany, or italy ect ect.. instead.. all we got is russia and croatia, hardly ground breaking if we beat them, not much of a confidence booster

BUT! last yearwas bents season! he couldnt help but score! and got rewarded with nothing

id put him before defoe everytime to be honest id put alot of engish strikers before defoe!

i think lennon will always be a 30 minute player for england to be honest
i think theyl put him on when the other teams defence is getting tired lets face it if you where a left back the LAST person you would want to see is aaron lennon legging it at you!.

and i think thats how the management see it aswell

me personally id always go for pace on a wing!

midfield for me now would be!

joe cole on the left hargreaves and gerrard in the middle and id alternate betweeen halves with lennon and wright phillips

Defoe is a good player, but Bent deserves a place ahead of him..He barely played last year and didn’t have to prove himself to get in the team..Bent worked hard to try and force his way in by scoring 24 goals last year and didnt even get picked for the world cup, or even played in these 2 qualifiers! It’s a disaster and a total fu.cking shambles!

So you think it wil improve things bringin Bent on – ffs – he’s not an International class player – Gerrard was just about playing central midfield after 35 minutes – and he was shyte anyway – i thought he was our worst player and thats saying something – apart from Terry they were all shyte

As I said before Robbo they need a decent skilfull midfielder – preferably 2 – where the feck we gonn find them I don’t know

As for lennon – same old story – head down and run for the line – he gave possession away at a critical point in the match
And as for Johnson – another Championship player along with Bent – we are scraping the feckin barrell here

Your comment about Bent is almost laughable…The youngster was 2nd top goalscorer last season, ahead of some of the best strikers in the world..Have you ever seen him play? With Rooney suspended, and Owen out..He should have started ahead of Defoe, and ahead of Johnson as he earned his place in the English team! That is what I was saying, which would have been obvious to someone with any little bit of knowledge about football…Even a 5 year old would have known that! Jeez :roll:

Joe Cole and Wayne rooney are young, skillful tenacious little players, along with Lennon! Your knowledge of players, and your knowledge of football as a whole is extremely disappointing and shocking for someone who claims to have both…This is my last message to you, as your knowledge about football, and other things within the sport, has simply put me off from wasting effort replying to your waste of space posts.

Yes I have seen them all play Robbo

I watch far more live games than you do obviously – It was Bents 1st season in the premiership – he won’t get anywhere near that total this season unless Charlton get a lot of penalties
Your ideas of skilful players are laughable

Downing is far more effective than Phillips – and as for his speed – have you ever seen him play – live Robbo – he’s feckin really fast
he had a season at Sunderland on loan – I watched him weeek in week out – he’s a good player – adds balance to the team
Course thats something you dont know anything about – a team has to be balanced – you dont just pick the best individual 11 – you pick a balanced team

You’re young Robbo , your still learning , your brain if you have one – is still developing
