dont really like to say that. but we got the win, and so did scotland so im happy wiv that.
not much to say on the point of criticising any of the players as i didnt sit down and watch enough of it to have a fair opinion (though i did see stevie’s miskick early on in the first half lol!!) :wink:
they really needed a good win and well done to them, but ive personally always compared england to spain… overrated (much more than england) and when you sit down to watch another country that has so many great players as england does…. they always dissapoint me (personally).
not to take anything away from what was a great result for the irish, but just getting that out me system lol!!!!

we don’t have a player like that – ours all run around 100 mph as if their arrises are on fire !!!First of all, Joe Cole was in Chelsea’s first team for most of the season last season. Second of all..Carrick would make a good sitting midfielder…He is the only one who can do a job of that type, as all the others are different…I would like to see Paul Scholes come out of retirement to be honest.
And Chelsea are not only ruining English players..They are ruining players in general..They have 3 teams for fu.ck sake! And most of them could play at a high level, but won’t leave because they are earning good money..Geremi is a prime example, as is Cudicini, and others alike..They have stated they want to fight for a first place..If this was an team that was finishing 8th in the league, even 7th, even for United, Arsenal, or Liverpool, they would have left ages ago!

I mean, you got boring players like Downing wondering down the wing at walking pace, when you got Lennon on the bench…Drop Lampard, stick Gerrard central, and put Lennon on the wing! Fu.ckinhell, it ain’t rocket science! And of course, get rid of Downing full stop! God, that dude nearly put me to sleep, I swear..I was nearly O.D’ing off Pro Plus!
Defoe is a good player, but Bent deserves a place ahead of him..He barely played last year and didn’t have to prove himself to get in the team..Bent worked hard to try and force his way in by scoring 24 goals last year and didnt even get picked for the world cup, or even played in these 2 qualifiers! It’s a disaster and a total fu.cking shambles!
