they’ve got all the women not us.Lol. I question your comedians of choice but you make a good point, brother trader.
There’s few things better than making someone laugh or having someone that makes you laugh. And when you share a very private world of what you think is funny with the one that you love, then you can take on almost anything as a team (especially if you’re wearing good shoes).

apart from when I hear the ice cream sirenI’m uninitiated with royals, so can’t really give you the benefit of my way too critical eye. Every man should own at least one good pair of brogues and shouldn’t really scimper on cost – the best pair you money can afford should always be the option.
Wellingtons and Dr Martins are both functional and thus should be applauded.
Slippers are a bone of contention for me – you simply can’t source a decent pair for love or money on the average British high street.
I feel a controversial thread about the sorry state of men’s shoes coming on. I’ll attend to it shortly.
21 November, 2013 at 4:35 pm #521074Thought I would put my fivepence worth in …
I don’t like to see a man in slippers…. No ,No No! [-(
And for the record- I prefer men to women – Women can be so bit chy. Men, well what can I say? They just do as they are told
On saying that though…. at least with women you don’t have to explain things 6 times before they understand what you are saying :-k

I once had a g/f who strongly objected because I was reading a book; this meant I wasn’t paying attention to her. I immediately thought uh-oh! Not good news for a long-term relationship…
I won’t ask where you were or what you should have been doing instead of reading a book…. :-
There’s a time and place for everything
21 November, 2013 at 4:49 pm #521076A man must
a) be able to make me laugh.
b) make me feel special even when I’ve just woken up and my hair is sticking up in 50 different directions and my face hasn’t quite fallen back into place yet.
c) be able to cook my favourite comfort foods and do it without me saying anything.
d) however long we’ve been together, never tire of sending those little texts that brighten up the day or sneaking up behind for a cuddle when it’s least expected (within reason of course).
e) know when to leave decisions up to me and when to take control without belittling me.I’m sure I’ll add more :D
