Search, “Graph of harmful drugs” in google. You will get more hits than you can care to go through, from a whole variety of sources. All the graphs will have alcohol on top or close to the top.

I dispute the fact you infer Heroin is safe…. as I said . self deluding to suggest drug abuse is somehow ‘not as bad’ as alcoholism….

No one needs to google anything. Someone smoking five hits of crack cocaine daily will die far quicker than someone drinking five pints.
That random graph means nothing, no context no link and no other information. If you presented that and only that (like you have) as “evidence” in academic circles you would be laughed out of the building.
Academics in this field already know alcohol is at least as harmful as heroin is.
To place crack and heroin in the same category as alcohol is clearly ludicrous, just as it is ludicrous to suggest a 45 year old man in a healthy relationship with an 18 year old is a paedophile.

If we could experiment with equal dosages, The Lancet suggests alcohol would be more harmful.

It is all about opinion Alfie, don’t falsely claim all academics in this field agree with your view simply because you posted a googled link. Secondly, from that link.

It’s where your flimsy argument falls to pieces isn’t it, an instantly addicted crack addict is NOT the same category as an alcoholic. There are not varying degrees of crack addiction, compared to alcohol, where there is.

The Science is clear for all to see who want to see it. Alcohol is at least as harmful as heroin and crack is, thus I wont be giving my kids alcohol, heroin or crack. If you wish to do that, fine.
