I don’t see any difference between some of these comments on this thread than when “witches” were burnt at the stake, whatever level of “witchcraft” they practiced. I totally agree with Alfie on that one.”Have they admitted they are a witch yet” “No Sire” “Pour some more oil on them we will get that confession before the day is out”.
Young people are bonking all over the UK, this backward attitude to sex in the UK in general is ensuring young people are NOT practicing safe sex and has led to one of the highest levels of teenage pregnancies and STIs in Western Europe.
The blase attitude that crap parents, or uneducated parents, are solely responsible for their children at all times ensured that those children were therefore somehow less important than other children and is DIRECTLY responsible (in part) for the exploitation of those same children by the male grooming gangs in Northern Mill Towns.

29 April, 2018 at 3:00 pm #1094344Id rather neither.
I’m lucky neither happened with my kids.
I do not agree with underage sex or underage drinking.
But like I said id rather my child had a few vodka and cokes at 15 then had sex.
Easier to get over a few vodka and cokes had just the once, than the long term affects of sex at an age you are not physically or mentally mature enough to cope with.
We just have differing opinions.
Since my kids neither had underage sex or did any underage drinking I consider myself very lucky that I didn’t have to deal with either of those.
29 April, 2018 at 3:06 pm #1094345As individuals we are fortunate in that we have our own minds and experiences which help us to draw our own conclusions in life.
I have made my points and opinions very clear on this thread.
For me to comment further would just mean me having to repeat myself.
Since I am not drunk I wont be doing any of that.
And since I know I am in the right and nothing will change my mind I will take my inane arrogance and dance off.
(wiggles fat bottom)
So enjoy my thread :)

I think the backward attitude to sex has came from people like yourself, trying to brow beat people like myself, in to thinking that having a moral vew about sex is somehow backward? Because I don’t think its right for children under the age of 16 should not be having sex? Your telling people there backward, people will perhaps think your right especially, young people. It has became the norm now for people to be relaxed in there attitude towards underage sex for that very reason. It is all ok to go have sex, slong as your protected. I don’t think it is,and I didn’t want my children to think it is.

I don’t necessarily agree with this. If I can interpret that, a few Vodkas, a few? let’s say 5 vodkas could make a 15 year old, who has never had alcohol or vodka very sick, 5 vodkas would make me sick. Why vodka ffs? Why not a mild beer or wine even? As an extreme it could result in alcohol poisoning, even death. Why put your child through that? Surely, ONE is plenty? Surely a few vodkas are going to get a 15 year old drunk? The 15 year old probably will not want to drink alcohol with you UNLESS the child is familiar to drinking norms in the family. I would never have drank alcohol with my parents at 15. Do you think a 15 year old is physically or mentally mature enough to cope with all that?
Drunk teenagers are even MORE vulnerable to dirty old men.
It’s not perfect, far from it, but I would still offset the above in a straight choice to loving caring sex between two 15 year olds, who are mature, developed, gaining pleasure and having positive experiences together which will go on to last them a life time.

Sorry, I haven’t seen that at all !! Quite the opposite actually. Could you direct me to such comments ?
