28 litres of vodka? I would have thought that much would have killed a child would it not?
Who said 28 litres? maybe an exaggeration to prove your point perhaps?
If at a family party my 15 year old had 2 vodka and cokes I would much prefer that to her having underage sex.
The thought of two underage children having sex makes me want to throw up in my mouth.
Luckily for me neither of my kids had underage sex.
But I did.
Probably why I am so against it.
And I had a loving boyfriend who cared for me and at the time it was ‘normal’ but upon reflection I now know that it was detrimental to me and I do not believe that its not the same for others.
I was more talking about a few drinks as against shagging some old pervert over the age of 20 actually.
A few drinks – not a bucket full.

The most I ever drank as a child was 1.5 litres of vodka and half a litre of whisky
I was the moral guide for them and the law supported me. I was right and you are wrong. It seems very fashionable these days for parents to say my daughter or my son are my best friend.That’ rubbish! I would never want my children to think of me as there best friend. I am not,I’m there mother. Im not there to be there buddy, I am there for everything. While I am here I will go with my conscience and with the law in teaching them right and wrong to the very best of my ability.

I think this is also taking it from one extreme to another, or exaggerating to make your point. Which made me just put your point in reverse. I just reversed your extremes.
You could have said a loving 15 year old, or 21 year old, but no, you chose the extreme of a grandad. Grandad is getting compared to ONE vodka and coke. Not 7, not a whole bottle, not 28 litres. From one extreme to another. Of course in your scenario, I would choose the ONE vodka and coke. But in my scenario I would chose the ONE bonk.

In some places, many places, many youths are out drinking on street corners at weekends.
If they have a litre of Vodka, (I think they’d get through much more than that) after 28 weekends, which is only just 6 months, that’s at least 28 litres, and 100s of cans of beer between them all. How many spliffs and cigarettes? possible exposure to hard drugs.
It could make sense for some youths to be persuaded to invite their bf/gf home for a quiet night home instead.
I would rather have my 15 year old girl in her room with her bf, with their own privacy,
than
being brought home by the police in the middle of the night, drunk, drugged, cut and bruised.
