Now I know you are going to be a picky pain in the ass oops sorry, but sexual assault with , say a bottle, or ‘rape’ with a penis actually has the same sentences in court but hey fill ya boots. You are taking a very serious subject and ridiculing it trying to score points … both are abhorrent, No one here has stated otherwise.
Sexual assault and rape are differently crimes. I would be extremely supprised if both recieved the same sentences on average, especially if broken down by gender.
They aren’t a different crime in certain circumstances though are they. or are you suggesting vaginal penetration with a bottle is a lesser crime than one carried out by a penis?

Explain how it is a different crime, 3 pages ago you complained the law is set up to protect the assailant and not the victim. Do you ever stick to one view or do you change it frequently like most people change their underwear?

One is punishable as stautory rape under the Sexual Offences Act 2003

The other is punishable as possetion of indecent photographs of a child under the Protection of Children Act 1978

These are clearly different criminal charges, defined by different laws and legislation.
