They quite clearly are not ignored, they have just received very long prison sentences. You could ask why the Blair regime covered it up, why it was not stopped 20 years ago but that is not the same issue as the actual crime being committed, that crime being sexual abuse and rape of minors.
There are gangs in every large town and city across the country, a handful of sentences changes nothing.
The police know what is happening, they chose to do nothing about it.
28 April, 2018 at 9:15 pm #1094133Why not all sex offenders?
Or we could talk about how rape is defined legally as ‘forced penitration’, which protects female predators from conviction.
Rape isn’t just defined as “forced penetration”, for example a child is deemed incapable of giving consent to sexual intercourse.

Statutory rape is a different crime than rape.
You opened the discussion up to ‘all sexual assaults’.The law actually uses specifically gendered language, which means that legally women cannot commit rape at all :
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2003/42/section/1“A person (A) commits an offence if—
(a)he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis,
(b)B does not consent to the penetration, and
(c)A does not reasonably believe that B consents.”

There quite clearly are not “gangs” in every large town and city in the UK, no matter how much you try and suggest there is whenever this topic is mentioned (usually by you) on these boards.

You specifically said “rape”. You clearly are not aware what the law states on the subject.

I just quoted the Sexual Offences Act 2003, the law that defines what rape is.

You can google and quote what you like. You stated rape is “forced penetration”, when in fact in the eyes of the law, it isn’t just “forced penetration”.

Specifically forced penitration of a penis into a mouth, vagina or anus.

Did you forget vagina? Amusingly you added it later.
