5 April, 2008 at 1:26 pm #323743just been reading about this, the store say they are open for business again after being given the go ahead from health and safety officials. Seems that it was just an accident, and not the fault of the store. Did she climb and fall? if so, why wasnt she being watched by anyone? She is only 3 years old afterall.
5 April, 2008 at 1:34 pm #323744Well if its like the primak in brum its like a geint jumble sale with every one pushing and shoveing just to get to the £1.99 knickers  That fall apart after 2 washes
The parents dont bother with the kids they run round throwing the cloths on the floor picking them up anf just dumping them and thatsa the adults not the kids
I hate the shop to be honest cheap clothes that dont last Full of chavs who wouyld kill you if you pick up a top that they have there eye on
As for the babbie ffs 3 should of been on rains or at least holding her moms hand all the time i duno call me old fashiond but kids come before looking good cheaply or should i say looking cheep in cheap clothes
5 April, 2008 at 2:37 pm #323745From what I can make of it she actually climbed over the side and fell. I know you have to have eyes in the back of your head, but she was only a little dot and should have been holding an adults hand, or on reins or in a push chair. I cant remember that far back when my boys were 3, but Im sure I wouldnt let them walk in town, they would have been in the pushchair at that age, but as I said that was a while ago, and I cant remember yesterday never mind that far back.
Must have been horrific though, her mum was wailing and uncontrollable. Imagine witnessing such a thing and not being able to do anything about it? Got to be a parents worst nightmare.
As she has survived this far there is every hope she will pull through, I do hope so.

maybe its jusat me and i know buisness is buisness but you think out of respect that branch of primark could stay closed while that poor LO fights for her life.
5 April, 2008 at 8:33 pm #323747why should they, it wasnt their fault was it? Maybe if the parents kept a closer eye on her, this wouldnt have happened. Next thing you know, they will be trying to get compensation from the store
5 April, 2008 at 8:58 pm #323748A Texan woman was awarded $780,000 after she sued a furniture store. She sued because she tripped and fell over a child running amok in the store. Surprisingly, she won the case, even though the child was her own.

No doubt Pete, as will the prisoner who is sueing the authorities for having to slop out his own cell, which by the way, he’s also complained that under some european convention or other, that it was too small, therefore, not only having to slop out, but being too small, it’s all against his human rights  :roll:Shame he didn’t consider the human rights of the people he burgled, (which is why he’s in prison) before he ransacked their homes
