My beloved straighteners have packed up, so now im desperately on the look out for some new ones.

I used to have remington wide ones which were really good but i cant find another pair the same anywhere as they have been discontinued

Everyone raves about GHD’s, and although theyre expensive, im thinking of getting a pair. Are they all they are cracked up to be? or are there any other really good straighteners about? (i need wide ones as ive got long hair!)

    HELLLLLLLP

whatever you do, never buy any wet to straight ones, they really dry your hair out

I had those wet/dry ones. I soon learnt to just dry it normally first, they wreck your hair.

I have the wide ones (Paul and Aidee or something they are called). I got some slim ones but never use them as it took twice as long (have really thick hair).

What are GSD’s? why are they different to your average straighteners?

I wanted the hair set that Lee Stafford had out over Christmas (dryer/straightners in a nice girly box), but didnt get them

The most expensive straighteners around, all the top salons use them, but the wide ones are about £100  As long as they do a good job, i dont mind paying it though…

Id want it washed massaged and dried for that though!!

Then again mine have lasted ages so its money well spent I suppose.

Ive only just got a cheap new dryer after Father Xmas let me down…. had my last one for 10 years it used to spark and everything!!

Just checked that site out. Might have a look on ebay, see if they are cheaper on there. I wouldnt mind hearing from someone that has used them though to see if they really do seal in the moisture and all the other blah blah

Ive got GHD’s… had them for about 4 years and they are still going strong. Cost me about £140 when I first bought them and they are worth every penny. I have had almost every other cheaper set under the sun but after using my friends GHD’s just had to have a pair (god I sound like Im on commission here lol). They honestly are worth the investment though. Go for it, you know you wanna!!!
