I would (if I were you) take whatever you can get, and then you can atleast put in for a transfer/exchange once your in somewhere.

have to plead poverty too get a council place1… Be unemployed
2… make out your homeless
3… get Dr certificates to say your ill from the worry of being homeless
4…. Phone daily, so your file dosent get left on the bottomGood luck anyway..hopefully something will come up.

Yep good idea…even if you dont want to live in a bedsit…you could rent it out!! Then that money could go towards what you have to pay for privately renting eh!! :wink:
or do what the poles do. get ten of your friends to share a house with you. then sleep in shifts until yove all saved enough for 6 months advance rent on a private let. then you can at least get a chance of a decent flat. [if you have the deposit to put up front.

3yrS IVE STAYED WITH my mum with kids, as waitin for house, im currently registered disabled, my daughter reg my carer @ 9 may I add..! ive got Doc’s letters, ring every day,
a nice 3 bedroom house became available which my pal stayed in, which i enquired abt told i was elliable for the house, then it was givin to an emgrate family whom arrived in the country few mths ago..!!!! im told i have a roof over my head, so not as neede..!! as them..!! they even got furniture and decorating allowance..!!! so Australia here we come..!!! im fc uked with this place..!!Just an update, found out today, Cus i cant prove i’ve lived in the area for the past 5 years cus i have been homeless and cant provide proof of an address they have now kicked me off the housing list. They also said because i put on the form 0 bathroom and 0 kitchen at my current accomdation they cant reassess my application cus the computer says noooo. They dont realise a carboard box has no on suite or fitted kitchen.
Seems if your homeless you cant go on the housing list. They did say i may be able to get a private rented bedsit and they will pay for the deposit but i would have to go through an aproved list of letting agents. But i cant afford £160 a week for a bed sit in taliband towers :evil:That’s so wrong…. sorry chicken. :twisted:
All i can say is good job im on two lists, allways have a back up plan 8) prob why we got so many homeless in London. Still all these homes they are going to build on the olympic site will solve the problem, Oh no sorry i forgot 60% private housing and the rest affordable housing, Part buy part rent from £280,000. Still at least Ken will be rich :roll:

case, and me pass port…close all bank accounts, and Id tell em….Now what do ya want me to do..I have no money and nowhere to stay!! and why is that,because I spent all me money on privately renting!!! They have to put you in a hostel or somefing…Even if you dont stay there…Except it, because if you dont they wont think your homeless… dont let
this go..or you`l be forgoten….DIRTY SWINES THEY ARE!!! :evil:
