Even though we have had loads of snow and nearly every school in my hometown has been closed al last week my sons school has been open all the way through this bad weather. It’s hiarious when he whinges about it, but the way he goes on is that his school is the only school open in the country, poor likkle mummies angel
No Sarah he goes to the Grammar School. Thank god because if he had failed his 11 plus he was going private. Saved me a bob or 2. Having said that it costs enough putting kids through any school doesn’t it?

My son said his headmaster was out playing with the lads in the snow a few times last week. I did ask him if anyone bombarded him with snowballs. My son said “mum! no one would have dared to do that”
