    The rest of the world plays as nations – France, India, Germany, Ireland, USA etc.

    We should play international sports as Great Britain, or UK if including Northern Ireland.

    Perhaps there should be regional sports to, so that England and Scotland can compete against Provence, Uta Pradesh, Bavaria, Leinster or Texas!

    yeah but wouldn’t it be great to have a GB football team in 2012, maybe an under 23 team to take part after the Euro tournament a month earlier. (If any of the home countries qualify for that of course :). Think the country wouldn’t get behind that ?

    We used to, but they were corinthian casual amateur types then.

    I know…….u e f a, vested interests, f i f a , vote-bargaining.. etc. . . etc ……..
