I am sure there is a risk to our security from extremists Owen but 30 terror plots really reeks of George Orwell’s 1984 and the creation of the submissive society and domination of the proletariat through overt threats to individual welfare and occasional demonstrations of violence. Maybe revisionist history will be next?

I am already convinced of the need for ID cards Emma- this doesnt make the slightest difference
