So if it’s just recreational – why are you against it !!!!!!!!!!!

What the feck has it got to do with anyone except the people who hunt , and the farmers who livestock are killed by foxes !!!!!!!!

If foxes need to be culled, they should be culled humanely. Not for fun, once a week by a bunch of Hooray Henrys!

I’m thinking of hiring out a few rottys and hunting down drivel for the sport. Ok we’ll maim him, he’ll have hoffific injuries before he is finally put to his death by dogs. But he is a pest, and thats why people find it agreeable to kill foxes with hounds is it not? Same principle, surely?

pml – it would take more than you and a few rottys Magoo

Just a couple of reasons why I oppose fox hunting.. As for your comment about professionals… I understand members of both Parliment and the Royal family take part with hunts up and down the country. How would you like to justify their role in the hunt?
They are followers they dont control the fox population. The people who are in employment with the hunt are the pros, they were who I was refering too not the people who pay to follow. Again could you tell us the humane methods of killing that you think are possible?

It’s the city folk that keep farmers in their affluent, subsidised lifestyles that they like to complain about so much!!!
HAHAHAHAHA. Id like to see most city folk providing their own food!!!!

No double standards here . Im against purely for the blood lust. and to top it all im Scottish, and have saw these “huntsmen” go off in search of their prey.I have witnessed the fanfares, the gut wrenching general excitement these things go hand in hand with.I have saw the grouse chasers.the deer-hunters,the tree planters.come up year after year,a yearly jolly jape to Scotland,to hunt and kill..Their 4×4’s,shaking in excitement, little aubrey and lady stuck up-coo,in the back. It offends me,and yes,Im working class and proud too.
and yes i DO realise certain things have to be culled.in a HUMANE way.Not to satisfy the ilk of Prince Charles and his brood. Most deers that are shot, are out foraging to feed their young, leaving young deer to perish.Whatever those jolly types “bag” is usually ripped apart, the blood rubbed on the younger members of the “hunts” head, their heads stuffed and mounted.
And yes i eat meat, and YES i beleive farming methods should be investigated.Unfortunatly not many people canafford to eat organic, free range etc,,and i shudder to think what goes into certain products of ready made meals !

so forgive, what appears to be double standards,as i slip into leather shoes and wear lanolin based cosmetics.

my argument is political..if not apathetic (wry smile) .

hope they choke on their next Stirrup cup..

Why dont politics come into your food chain, it is far worse and far more barbaric than anything else so why do you bypass it surely it is still politics? It appears that you are slating the class of people hunting which would suggest that you dont have animals best interests at heart but more dislike the type of person that you assume goes hunting?

Good luck mate! If your going to take Ruby on you mitght need some armour!

I was going to state my opinion, but would rather sit back and watch now!

<gets a comfy chair and a pint of lager.

Not as bad as you made out, the only people who scare me are people who have knowledge.

HAHAHAHAHA. Id like to see most city folk providing their own food!!!!

Haven’t you heard of Sainsbury’s? Tesco? Asda? What about or Lidl?

Farmers might grow the raw ingredients but I bet most of them wouldn’t know how to boil an egg!!!

i live in essex, 20 minutes from london and 5 minutes from rural countryside. everybody i know is anti hunt. we have foxes too. we dont all live in high rises and work in offices and take trains everywhere! countryfolks ignorance of what is around them is stated in the statement that always follows their rants that always include the words townsfolk…… the countryside doesnt always end where the towns start you know!!!!!

i have seen foxes killed, and i have seen the hunts ride through peoples land with no damn right… they do infact think they are a par above the rest, ive seen it so i can say it without making just a sweeping comment (like most peeps on here).

i have also seen the damage they can do.

i have also seen the damage done by nature…..

and that IS nature!! if we keep caged animals, or fielded animals they will be prayed upon… we DO it. its no ones fault, especially NOt the FOX!!!!!!!!!!!
