Fox Hunting?

Yeah, I agree Holistic. It is difficult to justify one and not t’other. I eat meat but, then again, I couldn’t give a toss about foxes either. Hope this helps. :D

Not at all TG – it’s perfectly natural for dogs to hunt in packs – they ARE acting on instinct . If dogs are let loose they will eventually form packs and hunt – its nature

So whats wrong with old fashined solutions – like hunting

It keeps people employed – keeps the fox population down and gives the country gentlefolk an enjoyable day out

Drivel makes a lot of sense. It’s natural for dogs to hunt in packs, so let’s bring back bull-baiting and bear-baiting. While we’re at it, why don’t we bring back the roman circuses where wild animals were set on people. It was popular entertainment and a fun day out for all the family. Kept a lot of people in jobs too. It’s a lion’s natural instinct to hunt other creatures, so what’s wrong with letting a lion feed on the odd person now and then. It kept the prison population down as well.

:lol: Well you said dogs hunted by instinct, the reason they don’t anymore is because dogs arent allowed to roam are they. Instinct it maybe, but the whole point seems to have been lost somehow. All jo asked was for opinions on fox hunting, i think most people hate the idea of an animal being hunted on horseback, and by dogs. But I’m sure its got to do with who hunts them as well. It’s not just *hooray henry* types that joined in hunts these days anyway.
