It’s with sadness and regret that I must inform all of you that ForumHostPB had died.
After many years of service to this site, he died at home suddenly with a lover one, (having just signed his property to a loved one and after racked up loads of secured debt on it and buying red sport convertible car).
He will be sadly missed.
I think what Henry David Thoreau said has he was dying sums up ForumHostPB;
He was asked, “Have you made your peace with God?” His reply: “I wasn’t aware we’d quarrelled.”
Boring.

“Who killed PB?” “I,” said the Sparrow,
“With my bow and arrow (…with added fish paste), I killed PB.”
“Who saw him die?” “I,” said the cat!,
“With my little eye, I saw him die.”
“Who caught his blood?” “I,” said the potato peeler,
“With my little blade, I caught his blood.”
“Who’ll make the shroud?” “I,” said PATS,
“With my thread and needle, I’ll make the shroud.”
“Who’ll dig his grave?” “I,” said DOA,
“With my pick and shovel, I’ll dig his grave.”
“Who’ll be the gay parson?” “I,” said kangawallafox,
“With my little book, I’ll be the parson.”
“Who’ll be the clerk?” “I,” said fastcars,
“If it’s not in the dark, I’ll be the clerk.”
“Who’ll carry the link?” “I,” said HermanGrrrman,
“I’ll fetch it in a minute, I’ll carry the link.”
“Who’ll be chief mourner?” “I,” said Sunny!,
“I mourn for my love, I’ll be chief mourner.”
“Who’ll carry the coffin?” “I,” said ChathostUK,
“If it’s not through the night, I’ll carry the coffin.”
“Who’ll bear the pall? “We,” said Oss,
“Both the cock (DOA) and I, we’ll bear the pall.”
“Who’ll sing a psalm?” “I,” said Amercan woman,
“As she sat on a bush, I’ll sing a psalm.”
“Who’ll toll the bell?” “I,” said Ugo
“Because I can pull(myself off), I’ll toll the bell.”
All the birds of the air fell a-sighing and a-sobbing,
When they heard the bell toll for poor Forumhost PB….fookin class rainy .

Some told me “they will only make me a Chatguide over PB’s dead body”.
So I had to kill him off

6 June, 2007 at 10:14 am #272622I read this post just now and I am utterly shocked to say the least.
The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated – indeed I am very much alive. I think that the mistake was that there is another ”PB” who apparently lives in Ireland and it was this other ”PB” that allegedly died in mysterious circumstances.
Whilst I was really touched by all the messages of condolence and sympathy, all the heartfelt poems, the distress and weeping at my departure … really they ought to be reserved for the other ”PB” …. the one that nobody knows or has ever heard of.
I can assure you all that I shall be pursuing my ‘Post Butchering’ (message board moderation) with increased vigour, and even more irony and sarcasm, long into the future.
I know that you will all be delighted at this wonderful news.
