never been to PC…a lot of people seem to know it.

so if no individuals are posting there, who does post there?

Do they all slag one another off all the time? When I first came here it was dominated by some pretty nasty characters, all trying to catch one another out – it was like my early years at secondary school, a truly miserable time. There’s still some of that but the atmosphere can be a lot more tolerant – at least that’s what I see when I go to chat.

Jc does have the advantage in that it has individuals posting here ..with all kinds of interests and I’m all for individuality. We do not all have to be the same.

Just to add the above observations …based on the time that they were here when PC was temporarily closed not on forum boards of PC.

I post on both…….. I go to PC because I first talked to mims, cath, pats, fast, cosy, sunny, catmanblue….. to name but a few when i joined this site in 2004……….I have never had any unpleasant issues with any of these guys……and so its nice to keep in touch……..just because there is more feeedom of speech over there doesn’t mean you have to be of the same mind set to post…….people sometimes join sites like these for a particular reason and just maybe these people helped me more than they will ever know.

what I meant by that is………there is less censoring………..and thats not the reason I post there

i post on both as well,and i dont want to get into the politics of whos better than who,my dads bigger than your dad scenario etc,but the fact still remains that 99% of pc chatters have cut their teeth,and learned their trade(if it is a trade :D ) in jc
in every walk of life,there is splinter groups,the militants,outlaws,rebels,the damned and banned,the breakaways who want to form a new club,but many pc members use jc,and dont cause an ounce of trouble,to me to use a football analogy
jc v pc is a “bit” of a derby match,throwing banter at our “noisy” neighbours over the road.
basically to sum up,the majority of the regs are experienced and know what they can or cant say,depending on which site your using at the time.
er how can i explain ok.

on the joke thread in here i would be a “u” certificate,all light hearted corny jokes
but on pc joke thread im bluer than blue
proper x rated stuff!
so all in all its a case of when in rome do as the romans do

I dont wish to be part of any community be it pats or JC. Lets just carry on and all type what we want and if people dont like it, tough.

Ps id better get on with the decorating, there are mirror tiles to be put on the ceiling :lol:
