fgs is it not enough that we have to put up with all this crap in the rooms that we now have to put up with it on the boards too? Yes the title of the thread says it all, the fire was lit by thin but you don’t all have to keep fanning the flames!

Look in the rooms and on the boards for some of the regular chatters and posters…have you even noticed how many of them have gone, driven away by all this schoolground crap? Soon we’ll have the complaints that all the “nice chatters” have gone…I wonder why?

The term for it is “Last Word-ism”.

Each has to have the last word. Each telling the other to ‘grow up’ whilst both acting like hormonal teenage girls.

I am sure that F3 would be better without bickering and bullying: there is a whole world to discuss and thousands of lives within the influence of F3 chatters. There will always be something else to chat about that would be equally interesting.

I don’t think banning any one group of people will help as others are always willing to fill the vacated chat space with abuse and vitriol.

I’m not that happy about having two from one “team” banned none from the other. In this particular conflict no “team” comes out any better than the other. The banned chatter can still chat if they use various tricks. But there are more vindictive and profligate bullies who seem to escape sanction, or maybe they just use similar tricks to get round them.

According to the chatguide who is reputed to have enacted the bans, Martin has said he will support the guides and hosts to manage the rooms as they see fit. If that’s what he said, then “with great power comes great responsibility”. Of course it remains to be seen how much power is actually held.
