and disregard full indepth research released last year

I think you’re jumping the gun a little bit there. Why do you assume I haven’t read it ten times over? Why do you think I am disregarding it? Simply because I don’t mention it?

Can you google faster I haven’t got all day and I even took the curtesy to post the EXACT links. What is it you don’t understand that while socio-economic status is relevant in criminality, it is NOT a factor in the inherantly biased British Justice System which is disproprtionally imprisoning young men  from black and ethnic minority backgrounds compared to their white peers.

if your black your more likely to be sent to prison, because your black and not because of the crime you commited.

This relates back to Trevor Phillips and his warning of “Britain’s current approach to multiculturalism could cause Britain to “sleepwalk towards segregation”

If it’s Liverpool fans who are the worst offenders, (Heysel) then you single them out for extra punishment to the others to set an example, right?

What is it that you don’t understand that I am not contesting any of that, and in full agreement with every word of?

It doesn’t relate to anything you are suggesting Alfie, you just google and go with the first link you find like a dog with a bone and try squeezing a square peg in a round hole to suit your standpoint.  The Macpherson Report covered those issues in depth years earlier in the 90s when it found the Met Police to be institutionally racist.

    Segregation.

Racial segregation is the separation of people into racial or other ethnic groups in daily life. It may apply to activities such as eating in a restaurant, drinking from a water fountain, using a public toilet, attending school, going to the movies, riding on a bus, or in the rental or purchase of a home[1] or of hotel rooms.

and of course being treated differently in the legal system.

How you infer I don’t know about the Lammy report from that, I will never know.

Was it wrong to single out Liverpool fans for extra punishment as they were the worst offenders, and an example had to be set ? I really don’t know myself. I was raising it in a thought provoking way rather than a concrete steadfast personal opinion.

    Try reading me twice x

If the colour of skin is irrelvant Dan then why have you just made a song and dance about colour of skin in the UK prison population?

because I don’t believe that black people are inherently evil or by skin tone more likely to commit crime but the skin tone often belies a culture they come from which has different values regarding immigration from certain countries.

That doesn’t explain the gun epidemic in Manchester in the 90s and 00s, nor does it explain the knife culture in Glasgow, to name two examples. I could go on, eg the drugs wars in the 80s and early 90s was driven by “white” criminality.

Are you saying then that crime statistics showing higher percentages of crimes committed by blacks is just made up for the hell of it? I’m not sure what relevance using examples of white crime has when disputing facts on why per head of population, the black community overly represent the criminal conviction spectrum. I’ve already said, I don’t think skin colour has any relevance other than the socio-economic factors mentioned but the facts are what they are.

Exactly what don’t you understand about how skin colour dictates what custodial sentence you recieve etc? Or i’ll simplify it, if your black your more likely to be sent to prison, because your black and not because of the crime you commited.

What a load of sh*t, if anything the judges will go the other way to show they aren’t ” racist” . You honestly think in every court the judge looks at a defendant , sees his black skin tone and thinks ” I’m giving you extra time for being black”. This sort of scaremongering ignorance is what fuels actual racism from the black community reading it creating hostility for perceived racism when it isn’t there
