Is it illegal to tell someone where someone else lives ?? I mean Joe Bloggs in the street, ” do you know where so and so lives ? ” yes they live at blah blah blah ? ” ? Is that illegal ? I can’t see how it can be ? Especially when you’ve given that person your name and address freely ? I presume it was given freely ? I’m not trying to make out it’s no big deal, I’m just questioning what offence has actually been committed ? I’m sure I would be concerned if I had been threatened by someone who knew where I lived, but who has actually made the threat ? Not Mizzy from what hugs has said. Morally yes I agree it is wrong to give out personal info, especially if you’ve been asked not to, however I don’t see how this can be followed up on. Tbh I wouldn’t be as worried about a gobby chatroom bully making disgusting threats as I would the quiet one , making notes and logs deviously weaving and worming their way into peoples confidences….
