An exiled Middlesbrough fan. Always had a season ticket until last year when I moved south so only get to see them when they play down here now.
Have managed to watch so many non-league games since moving down here and going to watch an extra preliminary FA Cup round tomorrow.
Well Man City, for all their millions spent, did well today, didn’t they?
Took and englishman to keep them in the game!
Harry Redknapp said last week he feared not being able to compete because of City’s huge spending power.
Don’t fear Harry, it’s not how much money you have, it’s whether you can make your individuals into a team and Harry’s team made City’s individuals look very ordinary.

for months my dad tryed to get me to support Tottenham(he was born there) and in a sense i was a glory hunter at the time because i chose Liverpool over Tottenham and the pool were flying high at that time but i was born outside london in a town that boasts no football team so i could pick and chose. ive only been to anfield twice but ive cried cheered screamed and bled for that team GO SUPER REDS!

Liverpool supporter through and through. Enjoyed the performance from Blackpool, wonder if they are able to maintain the rage. Have not seen a premier league game in 3d but saw several world cup matches in 3d, screened live to a cinema. Brilliant experience, makes you feel every studs up tackle and you can see when the ball crosses the goal line….

Just to pick up on Pandas point about spending huge amounts on buying “big name” players. To go back a way, Bill shankly built his Liverpool team from the grass roots , so to speak. he had scouts in schools and colleges watching for potenial in players, signing them up for junior team and then to the Liverpool side. Seemed to work,
