Humans can actually contract the disease. Although it only causes “mild illness”
I doubt that’s it, though. I just saw the thread, been vomiting 3 days on a row, the only thing I’ve had to eat in 3 days is 2 Rustlers burgers.
Although I did accidently swallow some Flash liquid. :?
7 August, 2007 at 10:22 am #281303Ahh, maybe your body is just cleaning itself out then….. why Flash??

I’ve been vomiting my guts up for the past 3 days. I’ve given up drinking and I don’t take drugs anymore.. I won’t even touch painkillers. I’ve grown out of all that. So that rules out the reasons for vomiting.
But.. I have had burgers.
So… that’s kinda worrying.
That does`nt sound to promising I`d be at the quacks if i were you :o

I was bleaching cups, you know, some flash in cups and then filled with hot water to give ’em a clean, and I leave them on the draining board – where I stupidly also left my cup water and whilst on the phone and not looking, picked up the wrong cup. :oops:I have a cupboard full of cups all stained. I’ve been having a good cleaning lately. About time I sorted myself out, see.
7 August, 2007 at 10:34 am #281306oooooh! Be careful in future then. Good old fairy liquid and hot water ought to do it.
I try and avoid any strong cleaning materials, other than for down the loo. We dont really need them, its just a selling tactic to make us buy dozens of different bottles, and the fumes and ingredients are really no good for you, or your kids and pets.
A few stains and a bit of dust never did anybody any harm.
7 August, 2007 at 10:41 am #281307Down the loo. There’s more germs on your food preparation area than there is on our toilet apparently.
Are you good with cleaning stuff?
What’s the best way to get stains out of carpet? pop stains mainly
7 August, 2007 at 11:09 am #281308I use dettol on surfaces, thats safe. Pop stains.. hmmm probably something a bit more hardcore. If you get it while its still wet then soapy water.
Talking of germs they reckon there are more on a damp flannel than on a loo seat too… scary stuff
7 August, 2007 at 11:13 am #281309Really???? A damp flannel?? How would that work?! That is scary :?
And no, old dried pop stains. What would you use?

ment to put on this post, i thought they said on the News that they reckon this foot n mouth got out again was due to the flood waters..??
7 August, 2007 at 11:38 am #281311Yeah mary, one of the possible scenarios is that has helped it to spread. The virus is easily spread anyway, but the flooding has not helped
