There is alot of skill involved in Fishing tricking a fish into picking up a bit of food with a hook in it is harder than it sounds beleive Me :x :lol: and Yes it is most definatley a sport in fact its one of the oldest Sports there is and is the biggest participation Sport in the world :wink:
As for the Hooks it is genrally accepted that the fish dont feel pain in the way that We do and hooks dont cause them any pain :wink:
Are any of you fish? Have you ever been fish? How can you say they dont feel pain?
Who are you God? Of course they feel pain, are you nuts :lol: Stick a hook into ya cheek and tug on it for a bit, its bound to smart abit.And explain the skill in fishing, as i dont see how there is any? :-k

O.K Pain is registered By nerves sending Messages to the brain diferent nerves register diferent sensations well it has been found the Fish do not have pain sensing nerves in their mouths . and no Im not nor do I beleive In God whatever that has to do with it Im not sure :?
As for Skill most of the skill in fishing lies in bait presentation if it doesnt look natural 9 times out of 10 the fish wont take it so the skill lies mainley in presenting a bait that looks natural to the fish this is just one skill there are other skills such as water craft playing fish the list go’s on Fishing beleive it or not isnt just sticking a worm on a hook and chucking it into the water :wink:

my dad tells me this all the time but i think fishing is not for everyone i did try it and it was most deff not for me. But each to their own i still think its sick throwing bugs into water who cant swim
Yes You are absolutely right Fishing isnt for everyone just like all Sports some Ya like some Ya dont :) as for the Bugs well I supose there is no excuse for that well not one I an think of anyway :? in all Honesty I very rarely use Maggots or Worms anymore there is such a range off baits that I rarely need to use them :wink:
