I took a good friend to her first footy match:

    Reading 2-0 Sheff Utd

Reading’s Dave Kitson bagged a brace to dump Championship rivals
Sheffield United out of the Carling Cup.
The hosts took the lead just after the break after an indifferent first half,
Kitson volleying in impressively from Nicky Shorey’s left-wing centre.
Kitson settled the tie on 75 minutes when he struck from close range
after Eric Obinna headed back across goal.
Stephen Quinn and Ian Ross missed chances for the visitors but Reading
    were well worth their victory.

    Reading manager Steve Coppell:

“Time will tell if it is a distraction. I didn’t want to be disrespectful to the
fans or the competition,” he said.
“Physically it is not taking much out of us at the moment. On a beautiful
October evening it has hardly hurt us.”
On two-goal striker Dave Kitson, he added: “We know there’s more to
come. It’s good to see him in the goals.”

She really enjoyed the game and wants to go again! :D
