WOW… what a Perfect Bond Song.. !!
The almost Identical Riffs to Diamonds are Forever..The Carly Simonesque romanticism of “nobody does it better.”
You Only live Thrice..
oh Adele !
20 October, 2012 at 1:56 am #512295I am sure there are a few folks on here, who remember Cinemas as Art Deco buildings. Purchased post war after the Empire Exhibition ?
I am sure I saw EVERY Bond Film in the Odeon in Blackpool..was part and parcel of my yearly holidays. A Grand theatre that is now ” funny Girls” venue. I had an Auntie that cleaned the Greens Playhouse and saw kiddie films of the Disney kind. Rows and rows of gold taps in the ladies,The cut and The Curve of Art Deco.. To this day I am intruiged by certain architecture.
James Bond to me is eternally Tam the milkman (sean).. an art-deco cinema..Kia ora and a wee tub o Ice cream. The not so sublime advertising of westlers hot dogs, instersposed between shots of the film…The adverts ooh Pearl and Dean .. that were like the Main movie !
cos..No-body did it better, than Mr Connery.
ssshurely !
20 October, 2012 at 2:07 am #512296oh nooo I am showing my particular kinks again .. of being a child and loving buildings and Maps !.
a peculiar child into cartography, at a young age..of drawing the entire South Americas Without tracing paper , at age 5. a love of Red sandstone, that “gasp” at seeing buildings without a curve age 6..grew up to be a right Cuntage.! me/ 52 and a half. !

Pah! Not a waste at all
Besides, if you can recall the awe and wonder experiences from a child’s eyes, it means you still have a creative mind. Ageless x
