Well this place has taken many of my lonely nights away, then I found a love I had been searching for all my life, he worked away for a short while and found myself back here night after night. There is nothing pathetic about being lonely, when it does matter is when you are lonely even though you are surrounded by people that love you, I for one am glad that is no longer in my life.
My heart goes out to people that feel the need to be distuctive for their own pleasure, the main person I speak of is Geoff and all I can say is… get a LIFE, also a good psychiatrist.
Also, I have never understood the need for people to frequent a place if they are truely happy within their relationships with their partners.
Everyone to their own… Who am I to judge.
actually sian………being truly happy and content means you CAN spend time doing your own thing……..me an mine aint joined at the hip. i have my hobbies he as his. seems to ave stood us in good stead fa the last 31 years. :wink:

But by this you are assuming that people in relationships who frequent this place are miserable and looking for something else. Well I for one can tell you that this is not the case. I suspect most people just use this place as fastcars said – as a place to have a laugh when they have got some spare time, be it relaxing after work, at night when their kids are finally in bed, or for some when they are up at night and cant sleep. I cant see the harm in it, unless you start taking the place too seriously.
So youre happy in a relationship and no longer feel the need to come here so you say, good for you! You can have both you know…
