Yes mr Pepper, you are correct pointing out the omission of the word stills in thr thread title to which i replied…..
i might suggest that not all of them, subscribe to your view and, quite possibly, enjoy peoples own original input regardless of the format in which it is expressed.
This i think covers the stills approach and justifies my response, no attempt has been made in the stills to give insight into any of the material chosen.
As far as pedantic is concerned, its factual to say my response to the point made by jen is far from it and although not strictly in “clip” format, my stills are to depict my favourite films/programmes.
Im glad you enjoy my stills, so thanks for that. It is afterall, the intended purpose. Unfortunatley, they will not be to everyones taste and, even if they were, i doubt very much they would comment so. Carry on regardless i will. :wink:31 July, 2010 at 9:50 pm #321990@Sgt Pepper wrote:
But in terms of bleating on about justification etc on this thread, all it really clarifies is a certain degree of eejitry.
31 July, 2010 at 11:04 pm #321991Désolé, je ne parle français
Av it in English …. While i respect that your thread title relates to clips, i will continue to post my stills whether it suits you or anyone else…In blunt English… Like it or lump it my celtic freind…Unless of course, it breaks any particular rule.
Carry on regardless i will.

Now that my input has been justified….” back to business ” as they say.
I loved this series and was fortunate enough to buy a set of three dvds with various episodes. The one most significant part of the episodes has to be the moral messages given to grasshopper from the masters…. Great entertainment, particularly for the young mind, sadly, this type of series has become very rare on mainstream television…..Gone are the days…….* sighhhhhh *My word Gaz, that series does indeed bring back memories. Those were the days of good old telly. Many many years ago for me.
1 August, 2010 at 11:26 am #321993People say time travel is a non-sense Bat, i disagree, its amazing how simply watching a certain programme or hearing a certain tune can transfer you to a particular time and place in a split second… Yes, the little box in the corner is no longer a wonder of science, more now a tool of the unseen forces and their covert trickery…. Bring back crossroads and kojak….i might buy a licence then….and a telly
