    I was a hormonal 16 yr old when I first watched it, I cried for flipping days! Everytime I thought bout the film for months after, id have to choke back a sob

    I know, I was very young and watched it with my dad who cried, he NEVER cries at films, and when I watch it now it takes me back lol. Its not even just watery eyes, its full on hardcrore sobbing! :oops:

    I watched it a year or so ago, my girls where just looking at me with their WTF expressions on their faces. I said you dont find any of this film sad, 1 piped up, “yea its sad, but whats sadder is you being hysterical over it!” :oops: efffing kids

    This is one of my favourite sequences from a criminally undervalued film.
    The second half of it – when Joaquin Phoenix leads the blind Bryce Dallas Howard away from the danger at the door – is just flim making and music scoring at it’s absolute best.
