If its anything like Tea in park,,the tickets for next year go on sale tomorrow ! ya should make a date with yourself to DO something about it,get the tickets ,then arrange for your zoo to be looked after. even the laddies would love it,as there are loads for them too at such events. Or better still, leave the laddies with DAve and we will all go :) hehe x
You have to register in advance for Glasto and then the tickets usually go on sale in ? Feb.
Shaz its great for kids, but they usually enjoy it more if they are a bit older, say 12 and up. But there is a circus tent, and a family field with guards and floodlights, and well, loads of people take children of all ages. They get tired and grumpy towards the end sometimes, particularly if its raining and cold, but there is masses for them to do and see.
I think you don’t pay for children until they are 13 at Glastonbury. Don’t know how old your children are, but that might swing it for you.

Watching the Verve now… good stuff.
Other stuff I’ve enjoyed… the Editors, Massive, Duffy, Futureheads….. didn’t see nearly enough though :(

1 July, 2008 at 11:43 pm #351287I watched the whole of The Verve last night, just seeing them again on yet another hilights show I recorded.
Absolutely perfect. Richard is pitch perfect, you can hear every word, he sang every song from the heart, loved the crowd, the set was simple, the beginning awesome, the middle full of all our faves and the ending…. well, for a new song what a way to hear it! Absolutely brilliant, I will be buying it.
So glad they are back together and Im really looking forward to hearing all their new stuff.
That is what a headlining band should be. 8)
Thats my review, and Im over and out now and promise not to bore anybody else with my glastocoma…. but Ive still loads to watch, so may have to eat my hat.
