Rubbish. I was on different kind of medication too, and I lost 6 stone!
So all this “oh I was on medication.. So I can’t lose weight!” is a load of goat b0llocks.

I used to be fat, but now I’m a human. So as a former heavy-goer myself, I know what’s b0llocks and what’s not. [-( People get fat because they eat or drink alcohol (not mutually exclusive) too much, too often and they can’t be ar*ed to exercise. I know, I was there! I’ve got the t-shirt, although it’s too big for me to wear now!
Hey, when you lose weight you also gain an inch. No, I wasn’t talking about your penis, I was talking about height – But yes, you also gain an inch there, too!
For you fatties, stop going with stupid diets, they don’t work. All I did was cut sugar out of my diet, cut down on drinking alcohol, stopped eating snacks… Perhaps amphetamine helped a little, I don’t know, I’m not a scientist. But I wouldn’t recommend the latter to help an 8 year old lose weight.
But no longer am I a cast member in ‘Land of the Giants’

I think it’s so important to teach children good eating habits from a very early age. My 3 year old loves salad, raw vegetables, fruit and soup. I don’t make him finish his food if he tells me he’s not hungry and he watches me exercise daily. I want my kids to know how important it is to take care of yourself. My husband’s family has a history of heart disease and my family has a history of cancer. I think of it as being prepared for battle. You have to have the right tools to do it. I think a strong healthy body gives you the chance to lead a long and active life.
That being said, I’m late for my work-out (again) :roll: :lol:why have they named this boy? surely life is difficult enough without naming the poor kid? he is only 8 years old and being treated like a freak for something that is not his fault. :? :?
Thats a good point, unless its in connection with a crime they are KNOWN to have committed kids should remain anonymous in the media I reckon

If you class yourself as human I want to leave the human race. I’ve just cancelled my subscription. Where the hell do you people get off criticising others. Aint the world bad enough? The Arabs hate the Jews, thin hates fat, cats hate dogs & everyone hates us smokers. Whats wrong with a little understanding & less condenming. So you lost weight, so what? Were you a lazy, over eating drunk?

I feel for the lad being fat meself and tom well done …But not every fat person is lazy
Im fat because i eat to much and all the wrong stuff But im far from lazy work 10 hours a day and run a house with 2 kids lol
But I seen the program on the lad ……….His mother should be shot im sorry but she was a filthy slob
Laying in bed smoking ffs whle her mother bathed him fed him and took him to school
She sat on her lazy fat ar se and did f00k all how the f00k she could alow the camras there in that filfth is behond me
The lad did not ask to be born in that kind of envament dont take alot to clean ya self and ya house

well said sunny =D> =D> when will people learn you are what you are. Not so much now cos i have various health problems but when my girls were small i worked 3 jobs (mainly cleaning lol) and still kept my house clean, ran them around to various activities , took em swimming etc.
the thing is yes some of it is lazyness and some of it is apathy. this mother does seem lazy, but there doesnt seem to be anyone to encourage her and get her going. We are all quick to judge people aren’t we?
one of the things that does concern me is, what are this family’s motives, they have chosen to go down the publicity route, court the media…….. hmmmmmmm could it be money orientated and sod the most important person in all this the young boy, who i remind you all is only 8 years old bless him

Having a child to parent SHOULD be encouragement enough, if that was too much of an inconvenience to their apathy then they shouldnt have had kids, they arent fashion accessories or some right to be exercised without also taking on the responsibilities that accompany them
Why not use the same arguement for murder and rape? Those poor murderers and rapists, its not THEIR fault is it? There just wasnt anyone there to encourage them to do otherwise the poor ickle mites awwwwwww
Doesnt quite float does it? And is the aftermath of this childs childhood likely to that much less impactive than if he had been abused in a real sense? Quite possibly not, and why? Because his parents CHOSE to not bother taking on the responsibility that comes with having kids
