Fake update warning

There are currently a lot of fake e-mails circulating which claim to come from Microsoft and offer you a link to instal updates.

Here is an example:

This upgrade is applicable to all versions of Microsoft Windows and is available completely free to all Windows Users.

Simply visit (dodgy link deleted) and click “Open” or “Install Now” to install the upgrade.

The update will be completed automatically and no further action is required on your part.

We appreciate your prompt cooperation.

Yeah … right, like we’re all going to do that eh???

NOTE: Microsoft NEVER NEVER NEVER …..EVER sends out e-mails to notify its customers of Windows Updates.
