Yes Pete, that was me because I thought he was. I subsequently read some more stuff though and it would appear to be an unknown quantity, because he refuses to discuss his sexual orientation, fair enough, no law saying he has to but I did think he was gay. Iv’e not said, nor ever will that his refusing to discuss it and/or not having sex, makes him gay, I don’t believe anyone else did either.
I still don’t really understand the connection to myra hindley either, but i’m too tired to figure it now anyway.
The connection is, had Myra Hindley lived her life to the same values as Cliff Richard or if you want another example, my Grandmother, then she wouldnt have been the evil cow she was. Whether a christians beliefs are true or not isnt relevant, if they adhere to the principles, as some do, then the world would be a more forgiving place. People teach hate not religion. As in everything in life some people who call themselves religious give it a bad name but its human nature not religion thats the root cause.
And why did you believe he’s gay ? cause thats the rumour put around because there is no evidence of him having sex with a woman, thats how it started. Personally i reckon he gave Sue Barker one but i have no proof.

According to Pete Myra Hyndley might be the atheists hero who we worship, since we dont have the ten commandments to tell us not to kill or to be morally correct like the christians have, and since we dont have the ten commandments, were gonna indulge in a frenzied killing spree like Miss Hyndley.Ok, my views on cliff richard being gay are the same views ive had for some years now. Probably to do with rumours in the beginning, i really can’t remember and care even less.
I cant quite see myra hindley being the sweet godfearing woman you seem to be able to, in your if, and and but theory.
As for my own religion,,,,,,,well being a christened catholic it makes me a catholic, im not and havent for some years now, been a practising catholic. If I wish to mock my religion then surely thats my business. I’m not hurting anyone else by doing that, i’m just voicing my opinion. I don’t tell others who wish to carry on believing what they believe that theyre wrong, and i’ll thank them to grant me equal respect in my beliefs.
