Must have been what all the chirping was about this mornin….lol
2 March, 2010 at 7:07 pm #431136To recap…..we have Evolution, Creationism and now, Icke-ism, Its a very difficult task to believe any of these with absolute certainty. I do think that there is common ground between all, although Icke seems to go one step further with the reptilian scenario, i dont discredit him at all, as i say, his belief is no more fantastic than the idea that `the creator` had a son on this earth, equally, the idea that `the creator` chose certain individuals to administer teachings to the population…some religions believe that dis-figured people and the like have been positioned so, as a `test` of their faith, i consider some issues that puzzle me very much, take for instance the death of all innocents, sometimes in the most hideous of ways, this i struggle to understand in that a creator with such power would allow such behaviour…. In the Muslim Holy book, Allah warns that the evil doers will taste the fire, not only this, their skin will grow again and again so that the pain will never cease….Astonishing to think that this is metioned considering the skin and the countless nerve endings which when broken cause pain…..
3 March, 2010 at 11:23 am #431137And lets not forget all the gnashing of teeth in the bible also… Your God is a jealous God…….. Im glad its not just me then :o
3 March, 2010 at 12:56 pm #431138It’s warned in the bible eternal gnashing of teeth and wailing in hell but that doesn’t mean David Icke aint part nutter
3 March, 2010 at 3:02 pm #431139I would say full on nut. A lot of the fringe conspiracy nuts buy right into it though.
3 March, 2010 at 5:52 pm #431140Of course UFO’s exist Pete. Millions of sightings of UFO’s every year. Im guessing you meant that UFO’s are not alien craft, since in your opinion there are no aliens. I know you’ve made a thorough search of the universe searching for them, and you’ve found nothing.
Isnt this the problem ? NO proof either way :?
Eight days later, Jesus appears before His disciples again: “A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you!’ Then he said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.’ Thomas said to him, ‘My Lord and my God!’ Then Jesus told him, ‘Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed’ (John 20:26-29).
Of course, the world is full of those who doubt…I am with Icke when he says- to think of the enormity of the universe and the galaxies each with their sun and planets and think that we are the only life source is small minded…..The world is scattered with people who have described bizarre aircraft, others testify to being contacted by alien life forms….as with the spirit world and my own personal experience NOTHING can be discarded outright
3 March, 2010 at 6:00 pm #431141Yet you’ve mocked God who far more believe in than believe in UFO’s from another planet. The odds on life occuring on this planet were infinitesimal and even with identical conditions it doesn’t mean life would occur or evolve. This planet collided with another planet giving us our iron core which gives us our magnetic field which stops us being irradiated to death. It also gave us our moon whose gravity stabilises the earth’s wobble and thus gives us a fairly stable climate. Why would aliens just contact a few, why not everyone, they’d be way in advance of us they’d have nothing to be afraid of.. yet they hide.. maybe they’re scared of the lizard men or the insect birds or the nutters like Icke
3 March, 2010 at 6:24 pm #431142Yet you’ve mocked God
I must have missed that… :?
The fact that life can establish itself under the conditions you mention, does not mean that any other life source cannot be established in another galaxy, we can only summise as to the true beginning of life and that is only within the limited knowledge of todays scientists…
The mutant gene already spoke of shows that anything is possible and goes way beyond the knowledge of humanity..
In my opinion, people who bow down to the likes of royalty and others who kneel at the feet of the pope and kiss his ring are very disturbed people….why on earth do they carry on doing that, holding these people in reverence, thats plain non-sense…. hundreds of thousands believe this to be the correct way to appease these people…. If i didnt think of it as pethetic and deranged, i could assume it to be an act of total perversity….Are these people correct to perform these actions to royalty and clerics…non-sense !4 March, 2010 at 5:41 am #431143@pete wrote:

I dont see how Gaz has mocked “God”. He just typed a passage from the New Testament about Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ was an apocolyptic prophet from the 1st century. There is no more evidence for him being God than there is for any other of the millions of God’s there have been since the beginning of human history.I think you’ve hit on a good point there though Pete about far more people believing in God than UFO’s. I think it’s simply conditioning from an early age. Headlines in the media about UFO’s will be along the lines of “beam me up Scotty” etc. My personal opinion is that there is evidence for UFO’s, although not definitive. I wouldn’t necessarily say they were aliens though. I think time travellers or people from parallel universes are also possibilities, or possibly just something that we have no concept of.
4 March, 2010 at 8:37 am #431144Gaz likes to discuss things that really cannot be proven and that includes you not being able to prove either Gaz! Although David Ike is a nut no one needs to prove that
