Many years ago, a thread was started up about why 40’s room wasnt used any more. People missed the ‘nice chat’ banter etc and were fed up with rows etc. The fun had gone out of chatting they said.
Now the answer was obvious…stop sitting in the lobby and go into 40’s….however there is a problem with that idea…..all the ‘juicy stuff’ happens in the lobby….rows, drama, name calling, etc, therefore 40’s by comparrison was boring. (By the way I am assuming the lobby is still there. I dont use the chat rooms, havent for years)
It was pointed out on many occassions that users have an ignore facility….however, another problem….if they use that, they might miss something, and that will never do. So…..back to square one.

Now there was me thinking netty was a she!!! As in the unforgettable Annette Curtain, who was always called netty
Me too….not sure I ever came across Netty Swackers…though I had heard the nick…. Ok that clears that up

ive often asked chatters if they’re new or how long they’ve been chatting as I’ve not noticed them before to be told they’ve chatted for years…..H was a good example….he’s chatted over ten years and I tjought he was relatively new!
