I don’t use the room much so it’s unfair of me to comment, but I have noticed most of the above. What I will say is, it’s very unrealistic and naive to expect everybody to get along nicely in some Utopian ideal. It’s not like that in reality so why should it be like that in a faceless chatroom? Those that want to come here for a nice chat and a laugh I’d suggest you’re at the wrong place unless you use the ignore button. If there was only a handful of chatters in the room it could well be a lot friendlier place, but with scores of chatters or 100+ there’s bound to be friction. We all come to chat for different reasons, no one reason prevails as the best reason. So if I am in chat for a positive time and some one else is there for a negative time, I dont feel I have any moral high ground, or any more right to be there. Infact, it’s this diversity that makes Just Chat a great place to come, a variety of people from different walks of life, different outlooks, and different reasons for being here, and the ensuing possibility of some friction. I reckon the management are quite satisfied with this set up. Let’s accept this and embrace it and all enjoy your chat time whichever way you choose to spend it
The psychology of JC3 can be interesting, some of it illustrated on this thread. There is most definitely a hierarchy and some (a minority) who have been here for donkeys years, men of a certain age who swagger around like grizzly old cowboys, an unlit cheroot drooping from their lips, their eyes half closed like p*ssholes in the snow, their finger trigger itching for a slice of the action. What tickles my dry humour though, is that they assume time served gives them more status than others and that earning respect from others is now no longer relevant.

You know I don’ t get drawn into the petty biatch fests & speak to who I choose. If there are people that choose to ignore me because I speak to certain people thats their choice.
I’m not gonna lose sleep over it. However there is absolutely no reason for them to spoil the room for everyone else with their stupid point scoring & getting personal on a daily basis as so often happens.
