further to our wee convo of the other week regarding Michael Marra writing mother Glasgow. Sad news is he died. There is going to be a form of petition to get Mother Glasgow played at the opening of the Commonwealth Games in 2014.

If you see anything on the petition I would sign it. Surely they would have played it anyway. Surely?
Hoping to return to the big bad beautiful city to see the games – just registered.
Thanks for telling me, I don’t get much Scottish news in the heathen south.

Haven’t been to the Horseshoe in more than 10 years. You’ve got to drink whisky in the Horseshoe, it’s obligatory. None of that 80 shilling sh*te.

I value and respect my neighbours as well as my Scottish heritage. Anyway, you’re a different south to me.
