When I’ve been in the rooms recently, F2 opens up mid to late evening and keeps going to about 2 in the morning as long as there’s a couple of talkative, pushy prats who talk to anyone, including the lurkers. I, of course, am just that kind of prat.
I pop on every now and then. It’s fun cos we draw the unsuspecting into some of the most random experiences of their lives. Setting up Bread Club (first rule of Bread Club is don’t talk about Bread Club) and writing a song for a special late night F2 band, complete with a new Bez, are just the sort of activities that make for the kind of unique and scary experience that probably has most people reaching for the off button.
(Just realising that most the over the top random might just be me.)
It is true, however, that a good night in F2, free from the family threats in F3 and the shoutiness of F1 (brought to you by the words D*ck and Suck), is a rare but uplifting experience. Six or eight people are a crowd, but what the hell?
