A few months ago I stored my PC at my parents as I was off on me travels, back now and trying to set it up again. I get to the password login and it’s not having any of my old usernames/passwords and is not asking me to create a new one of either…..so basically I can’t access anything apart from the bloody log in screen. Any way of bypassing it? I’m on XP, a totally legal copy of course *coughs* so has anyone any suggestions.

Ta for yer help, if I get any *sniffs*

Has it deleted all of your cookies? Basically do you know your passwords off by heart (i presume you do). If so and if you are typing them in and it does not recognise them, then i have no idea.

If you rely on the computer remembering them and automatically signing you in (i:e using cookies) then its possibly because all your cookies have been deleted in the storing process.

ta for taking the time to reply, but I can’t even get that far, what I think has happened is my password has expired, and then the time in which I’ve had to make a new one has expired as well.

Oh well, the search meanders on ;)
