English girls

OK, a little background.Last summer i visited London for two weeks, and i have to say not only are the women beautiful and smart, but they are extremely aggressive. This isn’t made to offend you, it is actually a big compliment. I went there by myself for a vacation from college and i was a little nervous since most of the world has a notion that American were fat, lazy, loud and stupid. I figured that most of the guys would be cool (which they were, since i do mma i had alot of discussions about it with the guys and made alot of friends) But at clubs/bars i was shocked at how the women were so aggressive. In the states if a girl likes you all they do is look at you and figure you get the hint and make you do all the work(guys you knwo what i’m talking about, it;s really annoying) But over there it was completely different, i didn’t have a night when a girl didn’t come up to me, sometimes they even bought me drinks. Now this is going to come off as arrogant/cocky (which in all honesty i am not, i’m actually very shy when meeting new people) but i have been told i am attractive, being 6’2” and having a very athletic build i wasn’t shocked that the women would be attracted to me over there, but i never expected a response like i got. Maybe it was a my accent, or the fact i wasn’t loud and obnoxious like they would expect an American to be, i don’t know. But it was an amazing culture shock. So women from England, is this normal? Do you have a tendency to be more aggressive with the men, or was this all a coincidence? But all in all my time in London was fantastic, i am going to visit there again. You English are great!
