7 September, 2005 at 3:01 pm #136702Aye, cant see England havent any problems. 3-0 or 3-1 seems about right.
7 September, 2005 at 3:58 pm #136703Should be an easy game for the boys i reckon , an early goal will settle them and I can see a repeat of the score at Cardiff 4-0 i believe, did flatter them a bit though, lets just hope if sven plays the same formation as he did against Wales we can knock it about a bit more and show we can play that way. Can see Owen scoring a couple, thats Michael Owen and not Svens rent boy Mr Hargreaves.

Im afraid not. :( Theres just too much to do now. Scotland have gotta WIN all their remaining games, and those include games away to Norway tonight and then away to Slovenia. Even then weve gotta hope that Norway slip up again. Norways late goal to beat Slovenia on Saturday killed Scotland off.
In the first two qualifying games Scotland lost to Norway and drew with Slovenia both games at Hampden. Thats when the damage was done. If Smith had been in charge we’d have taken 4 points from those games instead of 1.7 September, 2005 at 4:19 pm #136705Ive gotta b fair to Smith though. He’s done a fantastic job so far without any outstanding players. Just shows what can b done with a bit of organisation, tactical awareness, and having the players right up.
Also there is a few half decent players in the squad. Italy were on the ropes in the 1st half on Saturday.7 September, 2005 at 6:35 pm #136706How dare the NI team enter the same pitch as the England squad ffs.
