Having seen the Germany-Costa Rica game I would say that Costa Rica were far more attack minded than either Paraquay or Trinidad were against England.
maybe its because germany were not as solid in midfield or defence.. costa rica could’nt get near ecuador’s half today
15 June, 2006 at 10:52 pm #226247Germany arent solid full stop. They’re a shadow of their teams of the past.
15 June, 2006 at 10:59 pm #226248you see.. at last :) you have commented on another teams weakness apart from england’s
every team has a weakness.. the italians are not as technicaly gifted as past teams, France are getting older, holland lack strengh in depth.. England lack confidence and a decent striker at the moment, Brazil look vunlable at back like always
to say england are not gonna make the last 4 though, i just think thats what you hope for, just like I hope we make it to the final, the world cup takes a whole new turn come the knock out stages and any one of the teams that make it there, in my opinion are capable of making it to the semis

Sorry mate, but considering the lack of attacking emphasis with Paraquay and Trinidad it’s hardly surprising they havent conceded a goal.
So you did watch a different game from me!
Are you saying that Paraquay and Trinidad offered anything more than a counter-attack against England?
Are you saying that Paraguay and Trinidad & Tobago weren’t worthy opposition?
I think you should shut the f*ck up for now!15 June, 2006 at 11:03 pm #226250@Ow£n Ka$h wrote:

I think you should shut the f*ck up for now! They’re both pi.ss poor average teams. They were worthy opponents because England allowed them to be worthy opponents.
