Well today was emotional at work .. coming to the end of term, always is … the children have a habit of growing up and moving on .. what’s that all about?!!
I have had some quite beautiful cards and gifts … handmade ones are so sweet …
An emotional week for me … some personal achievements … some family ones …. the kids’ leaving …
.. and just returned from a committee meeting where it was decided that the pre-school should ‘dissolve’ as the committee can no longer, well ….. ‘commit’
Not sure why I am sharing all of this … guess I need to get it ‘out there’ ? Anyway .. I may be a little ‘distracted’ … forgive me if I am not my ‘usual’ self … :)
I suppose as one door closes, another one opens? Isn’t that how the saying goes?

Actually …. that was a bit petulant of me. I hurt someone’s feelings through thoughtlessness … they had every right to be upset with me. I hope I have not lost the friendship … but I know I have certainly ‘bruised’ it … if that is possible?

OMG just read this post – all I can tell you is that ‘one’ can say things brashly, but your friends stick by you – all you have to do is pick up the phone and say, what did I do last night/ afternoon etc, and whatever it was, I’m sorry – think you will find that your true friends will stick by you, and probs do the same thing!!
If your personality is like you wear your heart on your shoulder, or whatever the saying is, they like you for what you are, and will forgive anything you say.
