To cut a friend off because they do not value your opinion seems a bit harsh but that is your choice

If you and I were friends and I didn’t value your opinion and you knew I didn’t. Why on earth would you want me as a friend???
Wake up and smell the coffee!
5 May, 2012 at 6:37 am #495268I find that when a friend says can I ask you for your advice/opinion, they actually don’t really want it, they just want to talk it out with someone they trust. They come to their own conclusion anyway! ps. If it is really bad, my usual reaction is to say “well tell em to feck right off” – it normally creates a laugh, that is the point – they want to off-load! :)
5 May, 2012 at 6:41 am #495269For Terry……….

Then you have to accept their choice and be there if they need your support in the future, but not be judgmental if things go wrong
Why support someone who doesn’t even value your opinion?
Are u not refusing to value his opinion?

5 May, 2012 at 9:23 am #495275Friends fall out all the time….. its natural….. with a real friend you speak your mind and as anc said tell em to feck off….. few days later though you start to rethink things and wonder what all the fuss was about…… my advice… ignore each other for a while it will remind you why you were friends in the first place :D
