23 February, 2010 at 6:32 pm #432220Oh my flipping gosh! How stupid have people become. I’m like the the 911 operator gezzzzz, just get your money back and go somewhere else. Mercyyyy me what has the world come too??!!

I thought about not responding to your comment PB ,,,,,,,,,,,,,but I must. It figures you would say that !
Now give me a big ol snog cause I know deep down in that little heart you love me EVEN if I am American.
25 February, 2010 at 12:12 am #432223I had a sneaky little suspicion, Ncb, that you might grace my post with a response.
But you know, there is a (slightly) serious underlying point here. When one listens to that awful woman berating the “emergency” police operator simply because she cannot get some sort of ‘satisfaction’ from a burger bar FFS, it conjures up the most terrible picture of an enormously fat female blubbering over a lukewarm greasy burger. She would make a grossly spoilt brat look good by comparison.
I wonder what she would do if – God forbid – she got a splinter in her finger….. call 911 again and demand a full paramedic response team???
25 February, 2010 at 1:05 am #432224Britons are becoming the fattest people in Europe. English and Scottish women lead the heavyweight league, with almost six in ten overweight or obese.
Men fare little better, with at least two-thirds too heavy for their height. Fast food, lack of exercise and a growing reliance on time-saving technology are all blamed for making us the second-fattest nation in the developed world.
Fat Britain: Almost six in 10 British women are overweight or obese
The men and women of 29 European countries are ranked by weight in tables compiled by the International Association for the Study of Obesity.
Scotland tops the female league, with 59.7 per cent of women overweight or obese.
England takes second place, with 58 per cent, a figure matched by Cyprus.
In contrast, just over 35 per cent of Italian women and 40 per cent of French women are overweight or obese.
The slenderest women are found in Switzerland, where fewer than one in three weighs too much.
Eight out of 10 men and almost seven in 10 women will be overweight or obese by 2020, according to a new study.
25 February, 2010 at 1:07 am #432225And trust me PB the pics and reports are directly from proper British and Uk news etc. Just thought I’d tell you before you made a comment. hahaha
PS: If needed I can do further research and allow you to realize that the USA is not the only country with this problem dear sir.
26 February, 2010 at 10:43 am #432226Question: “What is your State doing about obesity???
