    Upon silken wings of butterflies
    ride the wishes of my elfin soul
    they are carried up into the sky
    where their own wings will unfold

    In the dazzling rays of the setting sun
    you may see them shining bright
    waiting impatiently to become
    a twinkling star in the night

    Like the butterfly in it’s cocoon
    they are wishes just while I sleep
    dancing there by the light of the moon
    they are changing into my dreams
