Ok, it`s a matter of opinion who`s right, question is what can we do? We went to war in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan yet we turn a blind eye to Israel and Palestine, why?
We shake our heads at terrorism yet surely War is terrorism if you are on the receiving end. We are talking about beleifs, Al Queda beleives he is true, we beleive we are. Israel and Palestine each think they are the victims but neither threaten us so why should we care huh?

That`s what I don`t get Gaz, the US and we were quick enough to aid Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan against opression yet we just watch this, and shake our heads and tut.
As I said I am still fairly ignorant about all the whys and wherefores but I see a country fighting for itself, that if we chose to could help, or are we all sitting on the fence?
We “set up” Israel and it isn’t very likely that we, or any other sensible nation, is going to eridicate the state. As long as palestine lobs rockets and suicide bombers at Israel the stand off will go on, with only one victor. Lets face it Israel could crush any Arab state that opposes it. Hell even the Lebanese treat the Palestinians with contempt, does anyone really think Iran is trying to help it’s “brothers” by arming them ?
There needs to be a peace and a settlement with probably more concessions from Israel than from Palestinian sources, but while militants rule the roost that’s never going to happen. And after 9/11 does anyone really think The U.S. or anyone else, is going to use troops to broker a peace.
True, 9/11 changed the world, and war. I agree with your point about needing peace and settlement, but I don`t see it happening.
Surely though if we “set up” Israel, its not ours or theirs, and I still don`t get why men fight for land, it`s all brrowed anyway
the Grand old U.S of A,, fund isreal as a lot of jews live there..(U.S) post war they needed a country so were gifted a small part of Palestine ( arab land) … instead of being greatful, they continue to demand more and more. the US would never declare war as its heavily funding Israel.
its a case of the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, like anywhere , one might suppose ? But the greater majority of Palestine is in need. there is need there and they have boycotts on medical supplies etc.. basically, in a nutshell Nemesis.. The poor person loses out and cant really win in a war thats funded by Capitalism. . the Yankee dollar Wins again !and in MY opinion 9/11 was the biggest Hype there ever was !
