excatly my point, does Martin get the real post or one made up like I just did. :D
Yes he does Lucy, all you have to do is copy and paste the http bit at the top, and he can see for himself – mwa mwa btw :) xxx
1 June, 2012 at 2:42 pm #497804Except that Cosy’s posts were not made up.
As for Thin Ice, I don’t know why he was banned, only Martin can answer that, but to my knowledge he didn’t make any threats.
1 June, 2012 at 3:07 pm #497805well as you can obviously see,jen is no fan of mine, she leans closer to thins fence, and as ive previously stated, yeh first ban was maybe deserved, but the second one i was at a loss
but it only needs the likes of one,as jen jen is hinting.and thats me gone again,on somebodys hearsay,so if i disappear, draw your own conclusions.2 June, 2012 at 2:47 am #497806@panda12 wrote:

the phrase ‘the pen is mightier than the sword’ springs to mind
Often a word spoken in jest is harmful to others whether the author be sober or not
Is that why being drunk is a legitimate form of defence in English law?
Maybe it is in French law.
Yes your Honour I was drunk when I drove my car and killed those people so I am innocent in English law
French law is much tougher on drink drivers and from the 1st of July all cars must have a breathalyser kit so the driver can be self tested and know if they are fit to drive
I think, that as always J, you have lost the plot when it comes to replying to threads.
Who mentioned drink driving and killing people?
The title of this thread, in case you missed it, is “Drunk in charge of a keyboard.”
As I said in this post:

This thread was just a joke.
I mean, you can’t do much damage to yourself or others when drunk in charge of a simple keyboard…
I mean it’s not as if a simple keyboard is attached to some form of world wide communication system, is it?
I mean, it’s not as if a simple keyboard is like a mobile phone that is attached to some form of world wide communication system, is it?
:P
As per usual, you have to take things out of context.
you can choose to claim you posted this thread as a joke and you can also choose to say I took things out of context but…..
I mean, I mean, I mean does not justify posting this as a joke, it was obviously posted in an attempt to get at someone….who that someone is does not matter
As for taking things out of context – well you were the one who chose to use the difference between English and French law to justify your argument until I pointed out the ridiculousness of it, but after that you were the one who chose to use other threads in a way to support your argument and you were the one who chose to get personal
Because I do not know you, nor have I ever spoken with you in chat I would never presume to know what you are like, but you do not seem able to extend the same courtesy to others and feel it perfectly acceptable to tar people with a brush of your own choosing
Anyway panda have a nice weekend and enjoy the Queens Jubilee

Should this be a criminal offence?
If so, what should be the punishment?
sorry if this has been said before..but I cant read threw all the posts cos my computer has her feckin rags  computer says nooooo.
annny hooo..
in my opinion I think people dont actually come on a forum and post when they are drunk.
I dont know about anybody else, but when im drunk i can bearly stand, sit on a chair with out swaing side to side, speak, eat..and lots of other things (apart from sex :? )I think that people come on line and pretend to be sombody else most of the time. Then, every now and then they show there true colours and post a load of jiberish.
Then…they use the excuse….”oh..I was sooo drunk last night” :roll:but thats just my opinion
