HEROIN:
I destroy homes, tear families apart,
take your children, and that’s just the start.
I’m more costly than diamonds, more costly than gold,
the sorrow I bring is a sight to behold,
and if you need me, remember I’m easily found.
I live all around you, in schools and in town.
I live with the rich, I live with the poor,
I live down the street, and maybe next door.
My power is awesome;
try me you’ll see,
but if you do, you may never break free.
Just try me once and I might let you go,
but try me twice, and ill own your soul.When i possess you, you’ll steal and you’ll lie.
You do what you have to just to get high.
The crimes you’ll commit, for the narcotic charms,
will be worth the pleasure you’ll feel in your arms.You’ll lie to your mother; you’ll steal from your dad
when you see their tears, you should feel sad.
But you’ll forget your morals and how you were raised,
I’ll be your conscience, I’ll teach you my ways.I take kids from parents, and parents from kids, I turn people from god, and separate friends.
I’ll take everything from you, your looks and your pride;
I’ll be with you always, right by your side.You’ll give up everything your family,
your home, your friends, your money,
then you’ll be alone. I’ll take and take,
till you have nothing more to give.
When I’m finished with you you’ll be lucky to live.If you try me be warned this is no game.
If given the chance, I’ll drive you insane.
I’ll ravish your body; I’ll control your mind.
I’ll own you completely; your soul will be mine.
The nightmares I’ll give you while lying in bed,
the voices you’ll hear from inside your head,
the sweat, the shakes, the visions you’ll see;
I want you to know, these are all gifts from me,
but then its too late,
and you’ll know in your heart, that you are mine,
and we shall not part.You’ll regret that you tried me, they always do,
but you came to me, not I to you.
You knew this would happen.
Many times you were told,
but you challenged my power,
and you chose to be bold.
You could have said no,
and just walked away,
if you could live that day over, now what would you say?
I’ll be your master;
you will be my slave,
I’ll even go with you, when you go to your grave.
Now that you have met me, what will you do?
Will you try me or not? Its all up to you.
I can bring you more misery than words can tell.
Come take my hand, let me lead you to hell……………Wow.
4 March, 2012 at 3:51 pm #483478I had some mkat last night. Most pleasant I must say, although my head is a little weary today.

Mephedrone appeared on the scene about two years ago in Manchester and being part of a group of regular recreational drug users we were all some of the first in line to give this dirt cheap alternative stimulant a go. At first we were all very impressed and were fast to sing the drugs praises. Firstly it was dirt cheap, £10 a gram mates rates instead of the standard £50 for a gram of MDMA! The rush felt like my first ever pill everytime, I loved all the people in the room and gurned my face off. And a massive bonus I could put it down and go to sleep when I wanted to. Eventually me and my friends were finding an excuse to take it every weekend and due to its fiendishness it would often spill over into 4 day benders.
Eventually we started noticing the negatives but it wasn’t until it was too late. We stank, think cat p iss and rotting plants, everything we touched, our clothes, the rooms we’d been in and after a while even a good wash couldn’t get rid of the smell. Our mouths were full of ulcers and our lips chapped and swollen. Some people went blue on the knuckles and lips. I’d say that the fiending for your next line is ten times worse than cocaine. I’d do anything and because it was so readily available all my money was going on it. This continued for about 5 months. Relationships in our close knit group became strained and people began to show signs of mental health problems. Some people had stopped, they had realised what the drug actually was and saw the damage it was doing to our community. My realisation came when I had what I would call a psychotic episode after staying up for 3 days sniffing between 8 & 10 grams of methadrone. I thought the entire party full of people were plotting against me and I can still remember the fear. There was no one on my side and I ended up in a corner in peices. Luckily a friend found me and helped me through it but I dread to think what could have happened to me if a kind friendly face hadnt been the one to find me. I lost friends through that night. It still scars me now.
I have never taken methedrone since and advise anyone who wants to try it to do so with caution. It can sweep you off your feet and before you know what happened you’ll be wasting away, in agony and maybe just around the corner from a mental breakdown. I still know of people that were part of our community that are still having problems with it and I know large numbers of people who’s lives have been scarred by this horrific drug. I’m just so grateful for the support network I have/ad that helped me and others around me get over this experience.
6 March, 2012 at 6:49 pm #483480I believe it’s down to the person not the drug, if you are going to hammer mkat every night then of course you will feel the consequences, as you would with alcohol or cheeseburgers.
Being open I have tried all there is to offer, the ones you are warned that try it once and YOU WILL BE HOOKED FOR LIFE and it’s all bullshit of course. You could have heroin once every few month for the rest of your life with no issues, it’s down to discipline and moderation.
I have had friends die from overuse as an escape from life issues but many more who have just enjoyed the good times in moderation.
To be clear I don’t actually bother these days, weekend was a rarity but intelligent drug use can be one of the greatest experiences ever and I won’t regret it for a second.
6 March, 2012 at 8:46 pm #483481Thats a fair point to make just be careful where you get it, only takes one bad batch of anything and it could end up killing you no matter how disciplined you are.
Anyway your too old for that shìt these days :P x
6 March, 2012 at 10:17 pm #483482Well, say one of my kids came to me and said “its ok Dad, I only use drugs once a week and I use them ‘intelligently’ too” – of course I’d be absolutely fine with that…
:roll:
